Normanton Church

Our daughter’s last full day before she moves.
We had a lovely day out - coffee at Rutland Nurseries, a shower dodging walk at Rutland Water and off to Stamford for lunch and a walk round this pretty town.
Chinese takeaway for dinner, yum.

This is the top half of Normanton Church. The rest became submerged when the reservoir was created.
I took this at the end of our walk - the sun finally came out! The first half of the walk saw us sheltering under trees along with some sheep. Good to get some steps in.
