Japanese Anemone

This morning I had to take my car to be serviced, and then borrowed Martin's car to take my Mother to see my ex- colleagues and friends  in Stockbridge to have her eyes tested. She still sees very well and it was a happy visit.
Meanwhile, one of my sisters was trying, unsuccessfully, to get a dentist to visit our aunt who has a broken tooth and probable abscess, while my other sister successfully sold our aunt's car. 
Our Japanese anemones are blooming profusely. They keep spreading rather thuggishly, but do look good right now.
