Art show

It’s that time of year again when the artists from the collective Drawn to the Valley display their work. I went to see my friend Gay who is a mixed media artist and she does etching on metal which she uses to create individual paintings. I ask her if it was a print or if she made the etching and then coloured it in! She smiled and rolled her eyes at my naïveté. There is a huge amount of work in the etching and they fascinate me especially when a change of colour brings out different areas!
