Reforestation

Popped to the post office in Dayboro this afternoon to pick up a package and stopped off at Apex Park on my way home to check out the change in the landscape.

This land is immediately adjacent to the North Pine River which has flooded a lot these last few years causing a lot of a damage. These trees have been planted by Energex as a carbon emission offset in conjunction with the SEQ Catchments and SEQWater people.

I just hope they get chance to establish themselves before the next flood!
