Ovipositing

This female Southern Hawker may have been born in my garden pond or she may have just spotted it as a nice place to lay her eggs. I don't know if they return to their birthplace and hope that a fellow blipper can enlighten me. 
I was lucky to spot her. She hovered close to the edge, merging with the overhanging plants and mossy stones.
