Today..

was one of those days I couldn't make my mind up where to go.  I had thought of Edinburgh, but was late up so the Lake District and places I hadn't been to, can you believe that?
Anyway I had been thinking about a new lens which would be beneficial in low light too.  Carlisle was my first stop and with lens bought off to Penrith via the M6; gave the car a run out and spent time walking around the castle grounds seeing what to photograph.  This part of the wall looked like a chimney and the clouds looked like smoke-Blip sorted.
Returned via Keswick and a wander around the market before leaving for home.
