Plenty of room on the top floor
This afternoon we visited Newhailes House, much of which (including the furniture) is pretty much as it was in the 18th century. It was given to the National Trust for Scotland in the 1990s when the building was in poor repair. The interior has been maintained in the state it was in at the time it was taken over. It is a fascinating place.
