Cruel to be kind!

Our lovely Joe has cysts on various places. The vet says she can’t really do anything for them and they don’t really bother him too much but they should be kept clean. My wife is brilliant at washing and bandaging them but Joe will insist on licking them so sometimes we have to put this horrible collar on him to let the air at them. (His cushioned collar thing just doesn’t work for this)
It is really upsetting to see him bumping into things not just because of the collar but also because of his very poor eyesight.
In fact, we watch him like a hawk and help him up the steps in the garden.
