Times Past

Maeve was with her mam today when her mam produced a bundle of old postcards that were sent to Maeve. It was strange going through them, they were sent to Maeve by family and friends many years ago. There were even a couple from me when I headed off hiking in Europe after I left school. It is a part of communication that for the most part is lost now. It is nice to read handwritten messages from the past. Maeve couldn't remember who some of them came from. We meet a lot of people in our live, some of them stay in our memory but others fade. She might think or who they are later. The good thing is that her mam did not throw them out and still had them.
