Norwegian Star

The 91740 tonne Norwegian Star leaving Lerwick harbour this evening on its way to South Queensferry having arrived from Bergen this morning.  It is capable of having 2348 passengers and 1031 crew and was built in 2001. A sign of the year moving on is that there are only 27 more cruise ship visits expected this year with 13 of them in the next week.
I'm photographing this from the Lerwick graveyard car park which is an excellent spot to watch the ships coming and going.
