A photographer.  Our visitors were surprised how extensive the view over Edinburgh was from Blackford Hill (164m) with visibility extending from Ben Lomond (974m) and Ben Ledi (875m) in the west to North Berwick Law and the Isle of May in the east.  Edinburgh Castle is visible in the left of the photo and Arthur’s Seat to the right.
By evening the sky was mostly covered with cloud but we did manage to see the “blue moon” rise between clouds.
