From Great Mel Fell

Four days ago I drove over to Great Mel Fell to walk it, and it poured - really poured, so I returned home. Today I had a lovely walk up it. I didn't have a great deal of time, as I'd sold a couple of my lenses on Ebay and had to get them packaged and posted, and in the evening Deb & I took Mike out to Celebrate his 21st Birthday (which was on the 25th, but he was in London)

Great to see the heather out on Great Mel Fell, and it took my total up to 96 Wainwrights. Because the heather in the foreground was so close to the camera, I had to shoot it as a focus stack, and used a 0.6 ND grad to control the brightness of the sky.
