Our Day
I should be ashamed to admit I did not get up until almost 10:00 but I am not. I woke up very early and actually read your journals until I fell back asleep. Could not believe the time when I checked my watch. Today is Kim’s birthday. Her school showered her with gifts and bought her lunch. Her hubby sent her a lovely bouquet. She is inching her way toward 50. Unbelievable. The three musketeers spent part of their day priming the barn doors. The actual painting phase will be tomorrow. I get to take care of Sugar, be the “go fer” and finish preparing our turkey dinner. We each have our talents and they tend to assign me the less labor intensive jobs. Hubby and I took a walk after lunch since his door had to dry. It ended up being about 1.5 miles and that is about all my legs can handle when there are constant hills. The light breeze added to the mild temps made our stroll very comfortable. We are going on an ATV ride around the ridges before we eat. I believe tonight will be perfect for sitting outside. Wishing you a pleasant day with those you love. Thanks for stopping by. Stay safe. "I can do things you cannot, you can do things I cannot; together we can do great things." –Mother Teresa
