We have one week left here but just couldn’t quite make it….so we took the boat and then the car in to Galiano.    Good for it to run.   So now we have mozzarella and basil for our caprese salad ( with all those gifted tomatoes ). ,   eggs and onion and cheese for tomato pie tonight ( I hope)  and goat cheese and bananas and bagels and cereal and coffee and.  …and. …and wine.   Thought I’d blip the 2 stores, across the street from one another.  ( the farthest we have been away from our cabin end of the island)    The Market has fabulous organic produce and everything healthy.   The Corner Store has some of that but also everything else,  including a bc liquor store !   It was closed and sold last year but now has a lovely new family running it and it’s much improved and well stocked. 
Think we’ve only been there 4 times all summer as family and neighbors have brought groceries  and the marina is good for essentials.   Tires me out.  A bit windy now.. Glad we are all set for the week.  
I added the tomato pie to the collage after dinner.   It was delicious!  ( a first for me)
