Back at the Beach

We stopped by our son Ron's house on the way to the beach. He is doing well, but getting tired quite easily. His mind is still sharp and his sense of humor is evident. It warms my heart to see him doing well.

Tonight at the beach my husband made a fire in the firepit so the girls could make s'mores (roasted marshmallows placed on a graham cracker with a piece of chocolate and topped with another graham cracker). They are gooey and sweet., one is enough for a sugar high. The girls (Ellie and her Mom) are still sitting by the fire chatting; I came inside so that Ellie would spend time with her mom.
