The Great Divide

Between our garden and our furthest away upstairs neighbour's.

The individual gardens behind our blocks of flats were once, we assume, single shared drying greens with small iron step-over rails marking out a green per stair.

At some point (the early Thatcher right-to-buy years?) the greens were divided into one garden per flat, but in a very haphazard way.

This fence caused a right stooshie for a while.
