Brutus is hopeful

I am having a cooking spell trying to use some of the vegetables from the garden. Mr D bought an aubergine (eggplant) plant that sadly has only produced one aubergine. So I have started making a moussaka - well a beef version as I can’t eat lamb. So far it smells wonderful. I have had to buy another aubergine as the one I grew is quite small :-(
For my blip I have a picture of Brutus. Having been woken up, he looks more like he is just hoping to get some more food!
