Donkey orchid
Today we left our idyllic home-for-four-days at Mumballup in the Ferguson Valley, WA and headed back to Perth. On the way we stopped at a bush reserve to do one last hunt for native orchids. The first one we saw was the donkey orchid (main) and I'd have preferred it to have had both its ears sticking up. We also saw the cowslip orchid (second extra) and, most exciting of all because it's difficult to see, the banded greenhood orchid (first extra).
Tomorrow I fly back to Sydney so it will be goodbye to dear friend Kerry and WA. Thanks for hosting BikerBear. Have a great weekend all.
