Sonning

I said farewell to No 2 son very early this morning before he left for his flight to Frankfurt. We had had a difficult conversation yesterday evening about a number of issues but I think we have cleared the air.

We crawled around the M25 to High Wycombe - averaging a very sporty 21 MPH - and visited the well loved Department store there in search of a new bed and mattress. Once we had identified the mattress for us, the assistant suggested we lie on it for at least 15 minutes. I didn’t have to be told twice and it helped me decompress from the last few days which were very enjoyable but tiring.

We are now waiting for No 1 son and will have dinner with him before we return home later.
