I found my mums birthplace at Tullymore Otra near Blackwatertown but there’s not much there nowadays and it seems to now be called Milltown but no one was that sure.I met some lovely people who explained that the birth and death records were a bit of a nightmare up to the 1960s but offered to pass on more information about the infamous McCann’s, apparently Toole McCann was a ringleader at the
Portadown uprisings in the day, feckin hell. I’ve been here for 2 days and have started saying feckin a lot so I fit in!
