Caterpillars...

It's been quite a contrast to yesterday - foggy, misty & rainy - but still, I met up with a friend in the hope of a dryish walk with lots of macro. We had a great time without rain. What should normally take 2 hours at the most, took us 5...We looked at every nettle, rosebay willow herb & bramble in the hope of caterpillars. 

We found 4! Still, it was great when we did. We found 3 comma butterfly cats & one grey dagger moth cat. This one is a comma butterfly caterpillar.
