Hummers and Lion's Ear

I know from past summers that hummingbirds love the lion's ear plant, and have photographed them together in the past.  The plant almost disappeared in one of our local gardens over the last few years, especially during the pandemic when the volunteer gardeners were not able to tend to the flowers.   A couple of plants remain and I have asked one of the volunteers if more could be planted - they are awesome for the wildlife and of course photographers looking for hummer shots.  Anyway,  conditions and timing were right this morning, and the hummers were fueling up before beginning the journey south.
