More Victoriana
A fifth trip to Shropshire in as many months as we continue our search for a new home. We arrived earlier than expected so drove on a few miles to Tref-y-Clwydd (aka Knighton) in Radnorshire. The town has seen better days but there is some impressive Victorian stained glass in St Edward's Church. I'll investigate further when we get home but although the windows have elements of a Kempe design they appear to be by Curtis, Ward & Hughes. My blip is a detail from the base of one of three windows depicting the seven heavenly virtues, classic Victorian.
