Alfred Wysocki

We attended Alfred Wysocki's exhibition in the Strumillo's private gallery in Mackowa Ruda. I have mentioned Fredek before.Unfortunately we were delayed by taking possession again of our armchairs, which have just undergone drastic surgery, so we missed Maria Chwalibog's opening recitation of some poetry. Parking in the paddock was a bit of a challenge too. It was a very pleasant evening, well attended, and only organised last week. Some of the best things are spontaneous, or as spontaneous as an art exhibition can be. The pictures were interesting too. Fredek has been doing portraits recently.

It was quite a social evening too. We saw quite a few people we hadn't seen for some time. Some had just arrived to spend the summer here, so I hope we will be seeing more of them.

Otherwise I took quite a few shots today. I have quite a good one of a hover fly hovering and a few interesting wasps plus a few of bees on the flowers in the rye. We had another torrential downpour followed by an intense rainbow which I managed a few shots of to the ire of cars behind us at the traffic lights.
