Looking towards the long weekend

This is Labor Day Weekend and so the last hoorah of the summer for a lot of people. The beaches will be crazy busy and so our traffic will be insane.

Today being Friday, I had lunch with Birgit and since it had been two weeks, we had plenty to catch up on. Lunch was good but our time went too fast.

I got home only five minutes ahead of Kent and we both dressed for heading out into the yard. For Kent it was cutting the grass. For me it was filling bird feeders and stocking the squirrels’ picnic table. I also put back out the yard items I’d brought in for Idalia.

After watching the evening news I did some colouring, something I haven’t done in a while.
