An accident waiting to happen

We have some lovely ladies staying with us this weekend for a prayer school. They complained that the car was vibrating when they drove down from Essex yesterday afternoon. So this morning it was off to Invicta Tyres, our favourite tyre dealer in Canterbury. They quickly identified this rear tyre which was on the point of blowing out. The photo shows the tread bulging - it should look flat across the top of the tread. You could also see where some of the wire strengthening had broken and was coming through the side of the tyre, although this is too detailed to pick out on the photo. Phew! Just in time a new tyre was fitted.
