McAllen temple

We visited the new temple in our old hometown for the open house today.  Very beautiful, and saw lots of old friends as well. 

The extra is Don Pepe's restaurant-- we had dinner with friends tonight where we used to go for Mexican food when we lived here. We sure have missed authentic Mexican food.  There an old saying: Never eat Mexican food north of Dallas or east of the Mississippi.  Seems pretty accurate!
