OMG ibson!

I am halfway to 90 today. Jo took me out for breakfast at the Manly Hotel which was free for me, and really really good.

Jo made sure that there was lots to unwrap when I got up this morning. everything from saw horses to a cooking oil sprayer. Stuff I knew I wanted, but didn't expect, and other stuff I didn't know I needed but now I have and will be using.

A new electric guitar was something that Jo was happy to let me go and get myself.

This 1961 reissue Gibson SG is a guitar I have had my eye on for quite a while now. It caught my eye when I started looking at Gibson guitars earlier this year. At the time I had a bit of a play and was smitten. As some of you will know I like old, antique things. The finish of this guitar appealed to me and the sound.....well let's just saw I will have to step up my skill levels. Plus it is an investment.

Oh, and it comes with it's own guitar shaped UGG boot. Cool.



And yes, this is a Crown gas stove in the background. Gotta love quality.
