Domestic Moment #6

Furniture Polish Bottle

Sorry for being AWOL these past few days. I had a cataract operation last Tuesday and have been conservatively following all doctor's orders about what I should be doing and where I shouldn't be going. Today is the first day I feel that things (most especially my pupils) are getting back to "normal".

This will be news to relatively few of you but I am aghast at how my vision had been compromised. I thought I was still seeing ... well ... okay. Riiiiiight. The return of something like full dynamic range, decent acuity and acceptable colour balance has been a real eye opener (sorry) to say the least. I had obviously waited far too long. Embarrassing really. Now looking forward to getting the other eye sorted.

Anyway, I shall be getting out and about a whole lot more after the follow up medical appointment in an effort to shoot a greater variety of pics. In the meanwhile I am resuming my "moments". They had been subjects of choice but right now they are more like EBs. I was nervous about reviewing my blips of the recent past, given the handicap I had been operating under. While they all look quite different to what I thought they had, there are few I would have actually changed. Whew.

This furniture polish spray bottle is being lit from behind to attempt an abstract. No pixels were molested in the post processing of this image.  SOOC.
