Waving a flag…

awaiting the arrival of brother and sister in law, this morning. The Starlings had grabbed the favoured Birch perch, it’s the one the sun reaches first. The Chaffinches and Greenfinches try to get there first. A lovely sunny day again. Plenty of heather still perfuming the slopes, but the migrants have all gone, leaving just Pipits, Buzzards, Pigeons and Jackdaws.
