Hollyhock

We took the short walk across to the shore this morning to see the seals that we could hear from the house. They were a real noisy bunch today, almost like they were all having an argument.
A bit behind the rocks the seals were on I spotted a small pod of dolphins. One even jumped right out of the water. That made my day, or so I thought, until a woman with binoculars said she wasn’t watching the dolphins, but a couple of Minke whales. Using her binoculars I spotted one, moving slowly almost rolling it’s back out of the water on its way. What a treat!
