Scolt Head

A lovely sunny day. Over to Brancaster for an art exhibition by Tony Bellars - great fun and cheerful pieces based on the local coast. Over to the Staithe, and parked up at Burnham Deepdale, them walked along the coastal path. In places, the path was wet as the morning had seen the highest tides of the year and the marshes had been submerged just a few hours earlier. Popped into the White Horse pub - one of the most famous pubs along that stretch of coast to eat - for a coffee on the terrace. The low dunes and building in the distance are the wonderful barrier island of Scolt Head. Home to potter, plan, watch football, cook and read.
