Locking up

I covered a colleague’s locking up duty tonight so that she could work from home for the day. She’s had a rather stressful day at work yesterday so I thought she would appreciate a day at home. Locking up merely means staying for 15 mi a or so after 5 to stop people coming into the library while someone else makes sure everyone has left before the alarms are set and the doors locked. Not long until term starts again and the library is open 24/7. Unfortunately, that also means evening duties start again which I never look forward to!
