Crocosmia Lucifer

Also known as montbretia Lucifer. Almost over and down to the last 3 or 4 flowers but they are still as vibrant and striking as ever.
Lovely late summer day today, spent mostly outdoors. A trip out on the bikes in the late morning, home for a barbecue lunch and a lazy afternoon in the sun listening to my book, followed by an early evening walk with Molly the Collie and a couple of hours playing with fabric! A great way to spend a Saturday!
