The Party's Over...

...and here is my belated Flower Friday blip. There are a couple of related subjects in the extra photos.

This time of year is always poignant, as the long summer days change into the shorter days of autumn. We've been fortunate to have had only a few hot days and almost no wildfire smoke. I hope that autumn will bring rain and some respite to those battling drought and fires around the world.
