Aultbea Wester Ross.
We travelled back to Aultbea from Gairloch today. Still great weather. This photo is taken just south of Aultbea above the Naval Storage unit.
Aultbea has been in the news recently, because, at last the Sailors from World War 2 have been recognised for their bravery during the war. They worked on the Russian Atlantic Convoys in the most atrocious conditions known to man. There is a Museum in Aultbea to commemorate this, with photos and a plaque.Heading north on the way home tomorrow!
