Ailie on Simonside

Ailie and I had a good 5.5 miles up Simonside this morning. It was sunny but very windy climbing up the steep side. We had a good catch up.

I got back to find Mr C in a stress as he can smell gas in the van. He suspects a leak as a result of getting the gas seen to in Yorkshire last week. Shame he didn’t notice before as it means a long drive back down there to get it fixed tomorrow (if they can do it) as our boat goes on Tuesday.

I intended to pack my stuff today but won’t bother in case we can’t go.
