Anderton Boat Lift

Day 2 of our weekend away and we headed to the Anderton Boat lift.
I first visited here in May 2012 with my late husband. (I know the date because I checked my Blip entry.)
Son Oliver didn’t accompany us on that trip, he would have been 16 and preferring a lie in rather than a trip out into the Cheshire countryside.
Anyway, today it was just me and Oliver.
The site has been developed over the last 12 years and includes a play area and a cafe and gift shop.
