Flammekuchen

Today we left the Netherlands and drove into Germany. We are spending this coming week in the Eifel. This is a beautiful region between Aachen and Trier. 
We are staying in the historic water mill in Birgel, which was almost destroyed during the floods two years ago. 
Anyway, the place has been restored and reopened this April. 
The food and drink are great. This evening it was Flammekuchen and a small carafe of local white wine.
