Hang out the flags
The garden is full of colour with the roses at last in bloom. They look different this year because they weren't pruned and I think I like them better. The bushes are taller and there are many more buds to come. I expect the blooms will be smaller, but that doesn't worry me.
I left rose blips for another day because I wanted to catch the flags before they finished.
We had visitors this afternoon. The daughter of a Mah-jong friend fancies having a Burmese cat so they came round to be introduced to Coco. Coco turned on the charm, cuddled up to them and purred very loudly, so of course they were immediately captivated. Who wouldn't be?
