Domestic Scene
I watched the SCBC livestream this morning then we headed to the ES church. Once a month it's held in a local Catholic Church in San Raf, so we try to get to those services. We had a minor panic when we realised our friend still had our car! He'd borrowed it Friday and we'd forgotten we'd not got it back! Cue Danny rushing off to his to collect it and come grab the rest of us.
After the service we were invited with a few others to Sarah's for an impromptu lunch. Lovely to meet the visitors she currently has staying with her (the beds I was helping make up the other week!) and to natter to a few folks. The kids enjoyed being in her pool.
We had a message saying the lady living on the beach needed more supplies (now living in a squat), so Sarah was wonderful and set about helping me put everything together for us to take to Ali directly from lunch.
Good to see Ali...sad that she's in the situation she's in.
Home for a haircut by Mitch for Danny!
Today I'm grateful for;
1) Managing to get to the ES church despite car hurdles!
2) A dramatic weather day - rain in the night and a very strong wind all day - I can hear it whistling around outside as I type.
3) Sarah's kindness in giving stuff for Ali.
