The 2023 Heat Wave
Three sunny days in a row you say? Well, that qualifies as an Irish Heat Wave.
Another day spent in the water or in very close proximity of its cooling power.
A sunny Sunday in early September.
A day when school kids bump into their new maths teacher in a bikini.
A day when Teddy (of Teddy's Ice Cream) puts a down payment on his new Lambo.
A day when a Dart emerging from the Dalkey tunnel, packed to the rafters with day trippers, looks down on other sunburned day trippers below, at White Rock
A day to be remembered.
The third day of Summer.
