Plough Lane

We have started our latest trip in Annie Camper. this time we are in Wiltshire. we have returned to a site, Plough Lane, where we first really found our love of camping. We brought our first, tiny caravan here and, well we never left it again, for years. We progressed through caravans until we reached our best, and last one. 

We love the area and we loved the site. Ten years on and we are back with Annie. We always suspected it is a mistake to return to a much loved place and in truth we were right. No longer owned by the couple who lovingly created and nurtured it, it is still a lovely place but it shows a lack of love and care. 

Ah well, we still love Wiltshire and will return to our favourite haunts. We will also visit our son who lives and works part time nearby and celebrate his very special birthday.

As a bonus, we were treated to a fly past of the red arrows!
