What a day! We drove to Stickley Ghyll car park and walked along Mickleden Valley. We started in quite thick fog but it soon cleared and the most amazing views appeared. Totally stunning. Langdale is such a picturesque area.
After that we drove via Blea tarn over Wrynose Pass then Hardknott Pass. I’ve put pics of that in the extra. When we were at the top of Hardknott Pass we could just see The Isle of Man - it appeared to be floating. You can just make it out in the last pic of the collage. 
We’ve had such a beautiful day and been totally spoiled with such glorious weather!
