Travel disruption

Spent the whole morning in Ålesund before our bus to the airport. Found there is not much to do in Ålesund on a Sunday. I walked round the west of the town finding geocaches before retreating to a cafe. The hill in the background is the one I blipped from last Sunday.

We had a tight flight connection of 40 mins and after getting through security we soon found out the first flight was delayed 50 mins. SAS would reschedule the connecting flight but no other flights to Aberdeen on Sunday so had to spend the night in a hotel next to Bergen airport with complimentary dinner and breakfast. It was very easy for the SAS staff to book this. I don't think I would have the same service with cheap UK airlines.
