Wildflowers
No morning mist, and a wind; much better weather for harvesting. Walked by the dam then up to the Aberchirder road; by the Banff road and through to what we call the Low Hill, to distinguish it from the High Hill ..
The people at the Mill of Ribrae have done a lot of work to improve the dam, and keep grass paths open around it for walking. The field with the tansy has grown a thick carpet of wildflowers this year (they've been sown and cultivated).
Another short walk later in the afternoon sun, by when there was a gale from the SouthWest; so much wind noise in the trees that it was hard to hear approaching vehicles.
