Mineral Mono (Epimorph after Polystyrene)
My husband has a mineral and crystal eBay store that has taken a bit of a hit in the current economic climate.
I should be working on some marketing but I couldn’t resist this white on white specimen for today’s blip.
According to the label, it’s epimorph quartz and fluorite, collected from Trousers Springs, Mt Isa (Qld, Australia).
The background is a large sheet of white polystyrene foam my daughter is keeping just in case it’s useful!
The title is a bit of a joke on epimorphs, which refer to one crystal taking on the habit of another.
