Sun day
It was, indeed, a beautiful day.
After a bit of ironing and housework a fellow volunteer came over and, over a cup of coffee, we worked on some items for which we are jointly responsible.
Later Mr Flossmo and I did a quick trip to Farnham and picked up a few bits and pieces. The cineraria (I think), gleaming in the sunshine, were part of a tub display outside the supermarket. The floral displays around the town have been outstanding this year. As far as I understand it the displays are a joint effort between The Farnham in Bloom Community group and the Town Council with local businesses sponsoring some of the displays. I take my hat off to all involved. It really does make a difference - the town looks bright, cheerful and cared for. Hopefully the volunteers also get some pleasure from doing it.
The rest of the day was taken up with sorting stuff for our upcoming trip. Traveling light means careful planning. We are getting there.
