Meltdown

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

Caro and me have been talking eagerly about her return for a few days now. We miss each other. And the cats miss Caro. 

She's been away longer than this before, but it has never SEEMED this long before. If you know what I mean. 

So I was surprised when she had a mini-meltdown upon her return. She just crumpled and I think embarrassed herself. She was apologetic about it for ages afterward. 

Not that she needed to be. I get it. I mean. I really do. 

I wondered if being back here made it all seem real and final. 

Regardless, after a bit of cat therapy she seemed a lot better. But I'll do everything I can to keep her wobble-free for the rest of the week now.
