Dunblane

We had arranged to get together as a family to celebrate Mum’s birthday today as her actual day was a Monday which didn’t obviously suit everyone what with work and school.

We also said we wanted somewhere that we hadn’t been with Mum so came to the Riverside in Dunblane which was fine for Graham and Morag who live here. Rachel is also nearby in Cambusbarron.

It was a glorious day again so a nice drive down the A9, waving to Blackford as we passed.

The food was good and we had a nice time. Morag had a really bad migraine so couldn’t manage sadly. We all had a good chat.

Home about 5:30 and a walk later. Felt an overwhelming sadness in the evening for a while. Just that I missed Mum being there, the dynamic has changed but she would have been happy that we met up. After all it was an instruction in her letter, to me to remember and keep in touch with Graham what with her not being there, and to let him know what’s happening. Ok Mum ! :D
